What is a Non-Traditional Occupation?
The Dept. of Labor (USA), defines a non-traditional occupation as any career field which employs 25% or less of either gender.
From the Washington Times, 2003:
For the first time in 20 years, women outnumbered men in managerial and professional occupations. As of Nov. 30, 2003, women represent 50.6% of the 48 million employees in management, professional and related occupations, according to the Bureau of Labor Statistics.
